Indie Books Read: March

Here at Phantom Owl we support indie authors. We've asked book bloggers to share their indie book reviews with us, and at the beginning of every month, we're going to share with all of you the wonderful books they've suggested. We hope to not only bring attention to indie books, but also to promote the bloggers that are taking the time to read and review them.

The list includes books of all genres.

Books are arranged by rating.

  1. Wow, this is a wonderful service you guys have! I will definitely be telling others about you, thank you so much for helping indie authors and their reviewers!

Since you asked for ways to improve the post, I do have one idea. I especially like the fact that you've included a quote from the reviews here; it gives interested readers a chance to preview the review before looking. However, I wonder if you ought to put a place on your submission page where reviewers could enter a quote from their reviews themselves? This might save you guys time--it would mean that you wouldn't necessarily have to go onto the page and find a quote yourselves. Just a thought.

  2. Thank you!

We're so glad you're enjoying these monthly posts, and we've been so happy to see how many bloggers have been participating. We couldn't do this without them.

We would love to include a way for bloggers to include their own quote, it certainly would save us some time. However, at the moment the service we use to generate the linky list doesn't allow us to add any other options. If we end up changing how bloggers can link up their reviews in the future, we'll certainly take that into consideration. But, right now using Simply Linked seemed to be the easiest option for us and the bloggers uploading their links.

    Thanks for commenting,
    The Phantom Owl Team
